Summary[]

Official Summary[]

VRkanoid is our interpretation of the old classic arcade game Arkanoid but in VR (virtual reality). We invite you to try out our virtual creation and leave your comments bellow. Only with feedback from VR gamers we can push the game to the next level. We will update the game and the virtual reality experience by implementing the best of your suggestions and addressing all of your concerns. The game starts on an endless plane of liquid with perfect reflection properties. It looks like a sea of metal, floating in space. You will want to turn your head to see the full potential of virtual reality (VR). It is an amazing experience when done right. You can press the start button by looking at it. After continuing you will confront your first level of Arkanoid in virtual reality. It is made in 2.5 dimensions as this is the optimal position for mobile VR as it doesn’t cause any motion sickness. Destroy all the bricks by keeping the ball in play. You control the paddle by turning your head left and right. Focus and finish all the levels of this virtual reality game. At the moment it is only a proof of concept with five levels, but you get the general idea of this VR game. It was designed with Google Cardboard in mind, but you shouldn’t have any problems playing it on other mobile VR HMDs. We already got some great feedback about how to make the VR experience even better, but we want to ask you to do the same – tell us what you think so we can make this the best virtual reality game out there.

Enjoy!
